*Market Index Certificates allows you the opportunity to make stock market returns on your investment while your principal investment remains insured at our credit union from loss up to $100,000. This investment instrument is available for either IRA or non-IRA funds.

The certificates are available in 2-year and 4-year maturities and pays dividends, at maturity, based on the movement of the Standard & Poor's 500 Composite Stock Price Index (S&P 500). If the S&P 500 is higher on the day the certificate matures than on the day it was established, your investment earns a percentage of the increase. If the S&P 500 is the same or lower, no dividends would be earned but your initial principal deposit would be returned.
